Adult Christian education includes a variety of course offerings which change throughout the year. The class leaders strive to include theology, practical living and fellowship elements into their classes. Several Adult Christian Education classes are offered each Sunday:

Japanese Ministry at Proclamation Presbyterian Church provides spiritual growth and fellowship for our Japanese neighbors. The ministry consists of Bible Studies for both men and women, English as a Second Language classes as well as a Sunday Worship Service. This year, a Summer Bible School Program will be available for all ages.

Believing and Belonging - A Class for New Members
If you have any interest in joining Proclamation Church, or simply would like to learn more about our teaching and our ministries, you are encouraged to come to this class for prospective new members, which will begin again on April 17th. There is no obligation to join, but every opportunity to ask questions about our theology, our Presbyterian and Reformed distinctives, and our vision. The course is mainly taught by Pastor Johnston during the Sunday School hour, and is generally required for those who want to join our fellowship as a communicant member. The class is held during the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30 am) in Room 241 in the Education Building.
The Pro-Life Committee acts as a source of information on matters relating to the pro-life issues through a Biblical awareness of the sanctity of all human life. Proclamation actively supports the following organizations: Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center (offices in Upper Darby and Kennett Square) www.amnion.org, Hope Pregnancy Center (North Philadelphia) www.philadelphiapregnancy.org, Delaware County Pregnancy Center www.toughchoice.org and YoungLives www.younglife.org/younglives. Small Group Ministry offers opportunities to study God's word or related material, fellowship, pray, and enjoy the special relationships that come through the shared experiences of God's people. A listing of the current Small Groups may be downloaded on our Resources page of this website.
Men's Ministry holds an annual men's retreat and prayer breakfast. These events foster fellowship and spiritual growth of the men in the church and community.

They perform in worship services as well as in the community and in concerts, using a wide variety of music. Proclamation Instrumental Ensemble is looking for interested instrumentalists who want to use their musical talent to glorify God. Contact Martha Alford for information.

CD Ministry includes recording the sermon and various Adult Sunday Schools lectures each week.
For those interested, there is also a Japanese Bible study that meets weekly Wednesday at 10:00 am.
Everyone is welcomed to a congregational meal which meets monthly after the 11 am worship service. Third Sunday Lunch is our way of welcoming newcomers and visitors to Proclamation. Our monthly congregational meal, provided by rotating church ministries, gives visitors, members and regular attendees an opportunity to fellowship together. Third Sunday Lunches are not held during the summer months of June, July, or August.
EAGLES strives to provide fellowship to our Encouraging, Active, Godly, Loving, Energetic Seniors through special events. For the present, the ministry is gearing up for a revitalized approach to serving our seniors. We will provide further information as this ministry prepares to launch in the Fall of 2012.
Proclamation Senior High Youth Group meet on a weekly basis for fun, fellowship and Biblical instruction. Special events and activities occur throughout the year.

Proclamation Women seeks to encourage and equip women of all ages to develop a sense of community and compassion within the congregation. Fellowship and fun for girls 1st -5th grades. This is a ministry in which mothers train daughters to become effective disciples for Christ. For more information, contact Jennifer Superdock 610-527-6149.
Nursery care is provided for infants and children up to two year old starting from 9:30am through the end of our 11:00am worship service. A brochure detailing our entire nursery program is available in the narthex.
Vacation Bible School runs for one week during the summer as an outreach to the community and the young children in the church body. The week includes Biblical instruction through skits, memory verses, crafts, and games. Children ranging from age 4 to those that have completed 5th grade are welcome to attend.
