Ben Falconer

I was born and raised in the state of Michigan—the land of fresh water, endless sand dunes, cherries, and the Detroit Red Wings. I studied voice performance, opera, and music theater at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and received my master of divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. I am currently working toward a doctor of ministry at Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, PA. Prior to coming to Proclamation, I served at University Reformed Church in East Lansing, MI for 18 years in two different roles—first as campus ministry director to college students at Michigan State University and then as associate pastor.

In 2015, I received a call to become Senior Pastor at Proclamation, and in June of that year we moved to the east coast. I love the Church of Jesus Christ, am passionate about proclaiming the glory of God in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and am eager to grow to maturity with this body.

I am married to my wonderful wife Kim, and the Lord has blessed us with six children, the youngest of whom has Down syndrome. I love to walk and talk with Kim, bike, read, sing, play games, try to grow things outside, and do just about anything with my family. We live in Newtown Square with our chocolate lab Phronsie.

One of my favorite Bible passages is John 15:5, where Jesus says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” I am desperately in need of Jesus for everything I do, and long to grow in His grace.
